Brasserie in Stralsund

Always nice. Especially great at this time: The brasserie brings the October week to Stralsund and there is beer in measure form :)

The interpretation of the Bavarian snack is a shock! A fork full of sausage salad, exactly as much or as little radish, no dear cook, that is simply completely wrong and frustrating for the customer. Bavarian is possible. So far we have always been very satisfied

The best restaurant far and wide. We were there again today and everything was great again. Food perfect, service super friendly and very fast on the way. And we will eat something different the next time, because everything tastes delicious and is plentiful. Today I had half a duck with red cabbage and dumplings. Very good ? we will definitely be back. So, dear people, can only be recommended.

Current visit in September 2020. Knew the restaurant from previous visits. The online reservation did not work despite the confirmation email from the restaurant, but we got a table in the covered courtyard / outdoor area. The service team was visibly overwhelmed because too few staff were responsible for too many guests. The kitchen had to struggle with similar problems, so that no moment of pleasure could arise. The food tasted very good, but the atmosphere was very hectic and uncomfortable! I hope the team finds its way back to where it was before. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed at the moment.

We go to the brasserie occasionally. Yesterday we received a very unfriendly welcome, waiting time for food 1.5 hours, mask requirement for employees only one ticket (mask over mouth and nose not just over the chin), our table was not disinfected, although we were accompanied by the staff. We understand a lot in this situation, but we did not feel welcome and will not visit the brasserie for the near future. The two stars are only given because we know better times. ?

Really brasserie atmosphere. We had Baltic cod and pikeperch fillet, followed by creme brulee and tender chocolate cake. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. The selection of beers is also great! The staff is friendly and courteous. We couldn't find anything about the excessively long waiting time for the food. We had an all-round successful evening.

Love this place! This is my go-to Stralsund spot :) Decor is nice and cozy, staff is friendly, and food is delicious. We even took a bigger group here one time with 8 people and each person’s meal was excellent! Vegetarian options are pretty good as well, and the meat dishes are tasty/lecker!!!

Time doesn't work in favor of space, rather crowded and very long waiting times. Food delicious, service doesn't speak english which is a shame. Nevertheless, I recommend it!

A good address for breakfast or dinner. Great products. Good quality. The restaurant is located directly on the Stralsund market square (Neuer Markt). Unfortunately, the service is not always convincing. Definitely recommended for a meal or a cocktail.

Drinks 5 stars, food 3 stars ...... Great beer menu, great cocktails very tasty. Food was well ... my companion was enthusiastic about her ox cheek. My steak ofour with seasoned meat was very small and dry, coleslaw tasted cheap and bought and the portions themselves were very small, for 17.90 I definitely expected more, a shame. For a drink, for coffee in the afternoon, yes. Not more to eat.

We were there yesterday. After my husband had eaten his rather small portion of matjes with very few fried potatoes for a lot of money (he had refused the senior portion), he ordered a baked sheep's cheese, which after a waiting time of half an hour came so melted that I lost a spoon asked. My burger was ok but not a revelation. The drinks came pretty quickly though. The service tried hard.

We went there for the first time today. The waiters were very attentive and nice. The food was delicious and the selection of beers was brilliant. Great idea that you can also test beer in small quantities. Hygiene was implemented very well. We'll definitely come back to Stralsund because of you.

Food quite high in the price segment and very, very long waiting times ... we waited almost an hour for the main course after the starter ... And this although only about 60% of the restaurant could be occupied due to Corona .. We were also allowed to wait a long time for drinks. The salad was offered as a main course, it tasted very tasty, but such a small portion that I was not full despite the previous starter .. had asked beforehand whether the salad was a large portion .. unfortunately the grapes were not seedless, with a salad that won't fill you up is a no go for 13 €

Super nice authentic German restaurant with various vegetarian options and an impressive beer menu. Our waiter was extremely friendly and the quality of the food was fantastic. It is a classic German restaurant with a modern twist.

The self-imposed hygiene concept was not implemented by the company's own staff, for example the tables were not cleaned or menus or signs were not disinfected. Should be done after each guest. For a simple schnitzel with fried potatoes, sour meat and fried potatoes, we waited over 1 hour. An ordered baguette, which was also delivered incorrectly, only came after 30 minutes. When the schnitzel was delivered and the sour meat, the fried potatoes were cold. The schnitzel was unfortunately not done. The breading tastes floury and you really had the impression that it was a finished schnitzel from the freezer. Some guests came after us, but went before us again. The mask requirement was not really implemented. What I have to admit is that the schnitzel was not charged. Still, I am disappointed because I have often been inside while eating and I was actually always satisfied.

Very nice and courteous service. The order was quick. The food tasted really good. There is a large winter garden at the back of the restaurant.

When we arrived everything was really hectic! The service came immediately, but not exactly friendly! My meal consisted of ready-made meals that you can buy cheap from the supermarket! Not recommendable! The drinks were good so far! We had to wait an hour for our food and people who came later had their food earlier than we did! Not again!

Very friendly service, huge beer selection with really great varieties, food was also tasty but a bit too expensive for what you get. Nevertheless we are satisfied and would come back anytime!

Very good food and service. I had a steak that was very tender and delicious. The menu is extensive. Bring a good appetite! Definitely going back for more.

Well prepared meals with enjoyable baltic atmosphere and central european cuisine. The prices are around average, good for the food that is served. You only have to count with slightly longer waiting times during busy hours around lunch and dinner.

We got a table in the beer garden for 12 people at short notice. The food is totally delicious. The service is very friendly.

We spent several days visiting the Rugen island and Stralsund and here we met the first waiter who understands and speaks very good English. Thank you, Majd! I hope soon everyone in that region will be as nice, smiling and good in English as you. Besides that: the food is very tasty, the prices are reasonable, the interior is extremely cosy, and their bio lemonade is definitely worth to try. We recommend!

Nice traditional brasserie

The brasserie is inviting and the food is good, but the service is bad and ruined the experience. We had to fetch the waitress twice and even then she was nonchalant. Several people walked away from after not being met. Even good music couldn't save this visit. Stay away until a new owner takes over and runs the place properly.
